LS Nosius Luaran

President of SAJUTA

Session 2023-2025

Greetings to all fellow land surveying professionals.

Thank you for visiting the SAJUTA website, I extend warm greetings from the all-fellow licensed surveyors, executive committee members, and secretariat of The Association of Registered & Licensed Surveyors, Sabah (SAJUTA).

First and foremost, I am humbled to have been elected again as President of SAJUTA for the term 2023/2025. I would like to record my gratitude to all fellow members for your participation and support during the recent 33rd SAJUTA AGM on 15th April 2023. Congratulations to all newly elected executive committee (EXCO) members. We are grateful for the opportunity to us to fulfill the duties of this association with integrity. As the only recognized Professional association body for surveyors within Sabah, we shall continually strive to position ourselves to devise solutions that foster positive changes for the profession in Sabah.

We shall also ensure that SAJUTA EXCO works closely with all industry players in the state and country to overcome all challenges and create more engaging activities and programs during this 2023-2025 term. As soon as is practicable we will organize seminars and ensure the continuation of the CEPD programs for all members, articled graduates, and technicians.

I urge members to support and ensure that the association becomes an organisation of professionals that can provide a platform for us to share experiences, knowledge, and other issues pertaining to our profession. Members must appreciate our respective roles and obligations with the aim for this association to provide positive consequences to the community. Land surveying has grown as a profession and assisted many societies to solve their problems regarding lands. There is thus every reason to be hopeful for the future. I call upon all members to participate and engage in the programs that will be organized by SAJUTA EXCO soon.

Lastly, on behalf of SAJUTA EXCO terms of 2023/2025, I want to thank our members for giving us the mandate to steer our association forward. Thank you.
