The designation of the members by distinguishing initials as follows: –
Every Corporate or Registered Member shall be entitled to use after his name the initials MALS i.e. Member of the Association of Registered & Licensed Land Surveyors, Sabah
Every Associate Member may indicate his membership in the Association, thus AMALS. (Associate Member of the Association of Registered & Land Surveyors, Sabah).
Every Honorary Member may indicate his membership in the Association, thus HMALS. (Honorary Member of the Association of Registered & Land Surveyors, Sabah).
Every Fellow Member may indicate his membership in the Association, thus FMALS. (Fellow Member of the Association of Registered & Land Surveyors, Sabah).
Prefix
All Corporate of the Association are eligible to use the prefix ‘LS’ and ‘RS’ to their name with the following conditions: –
All Corporate are entitled to use the prefix ‘LS’ (Licensed Surveyor) and ‘RS’ (Registered Surveyor) for registered member to their names provided their annual subscriptions, dues and levies are not in arrears.
